Important Changes to Break Item Packaging

Piazza Produce is committed to the highest quality standards as we serve our customers. In order to effectively track and trace product up and down the supply chain, Piazza Produce has implemented standardized break item cases. This new packaging will allow for product identification throughout the supply chain and enhance traceability and recall procedures at a time when food safety is getting much needed attention by both the public and regulatory bodies.Along with enhancing traceability, this implementation will also improve the quality of the product. Please see below for the current product changes.  More products will follow as we continue to standardize break item cases.

The following changes are effective immediately:

Apples - If you need less than a full case of Granny Smith Apples, Red Delicious Apples, and/or Gold Delicious Apples, the following options are now available. All other sizes of break codes have been deactivated.

Beginning Monday, June 14, cilantro, Italian parsley and curly parsley will be sold by the bunch in 3 ct bags. These bunches will be washed and cleaned, making it convenient and ready to use. When placing an order, if you need 9 bunches of cilantro, order 3 bags of the 3ct product.
