| Remembering Our Friend, Stefan Pollard

 Hello, DJ,
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you
of the passing of longtime eec member, senior strategic consultant at
Responsys and email industry stalwart, Stefan Pollard. A moving tribute
to him - the guru, the friend, the father, the mentor - was published
Monday in ClickZ where Stefan wrote a
bi-monthly column. We add our voices to the
celebration of his life and the impact he had on our industry and on us as individuals. Thank you, Stefan; we miss you.
The eec is establishing the "Stefan Pollard eec Member of the Year Award for Excellence in Creativity and Contribution" to be awarded annually at the Email Evolution Conference, an event Stefan loved. More information will follow in the coming months.
Responsys has set up a
fund to benefit Stefan's children; those interested can make
contributions to the Pollard Memorial Fund by logging in to their
