Welcome to the September edition of Discover's semi-monthly Career Newsletter.
In this month's edition, we will share with you insights from a variety
of employees on what "A Day in the Life" is like for Discover
employees, with unique information on responsibilities based upon one's
area of talent.

Project Manager, Finance Strategy & Analysis
I work on the Strategy and Analysis team in Finance, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning. This role gives me a good perspective on the overall business strategy, long-term and short-term goals of the company and an insight into the various functions within Discover.
I get to my desk anywhere between 7:35 and 7:45 a.m. and try to catch a quick workout before getting started. After my daily coffee and breakfast from the convenient "grab-and-go," my day at work begins. Discover's campus is beautiful, with a two mile running track, a fully-equipped gym, "grab-and-go" stores, laundry service, cafeteria and an in-house drug-store.
