The Harvest is Here!
Pumpkins--and fun events--are nearly ripe for picking in the fields of Oregon's Washington County
Throughout Oregon's Washington County, fall is settling in--and it's much more than leaves changing. 'Tis the season where the u-pick offering of choice is pumpkin, mazes are crafted from corn fields and hay bales, and farms throughout the county open their fields for harvest-time fun. Pumpkin patch fun also has expanded to include pumpkin bowling and slingshots, pony rides and petting zoos. Tasting fall is essential as well. Many area farms offer fresh pressed cider as well as both ornamental and cooking squash and corn for sale.
